Thanks Zarifika & Murat, Qurbani is a very holy time of the year for Muslims and followers of Islam. It falls across the 10th, 11th, and 12th days of the last month of the Islamic (lunar) year, known as Dhul Hijjah. It is followed by Eid al-Adha, or Big Eid as it is sometimes called. For those outside of the Imaani Charity community, Qurbani is little known compared to other events like Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. For the benefit of friends of the Islamic community and those who are new to the community or who don’t have the guidance of a local Imam, we have put together this guide as to why Muslims give Qurbani.
